MyHealthStory Privacy & Security
All communications are completed via HIPAA-compliant, encrypted (128-bit), SSL transactions. To insure maximum security, there is no live connection to MyHealthStory Direct Messaging from MyHealthStory’s core integration engine component or any other external system until a file is to be sent to the Direct Messaging and a secure connection is then completed. This prevents breaches in MyHealthStory and patient security.
MyHealthStory Direct Messaging is a simple, secure, scalable, standards-based way for caregivers and patients to send and receive authenticated, encrypted health information over the Internet. Health providers can send and receive care summaries, patient consultation reports, and discharge summaries automatically (with an EHR interface) or manually without one.
